Even heroes need to know they are appreciated! Some won't even know they are heroes unless you tell them. Thank a hero who has made a difference in your community.
Do you know a Hometown Hero who should be commended for an outstanding accomplishment? After all, no act is too small to be recognized. Thank your neighbor for watching your home while you were away or for shoveling your sidewalk. Send a note of thanks to your teacher for staying after school to help you master multiplication tables or to that fireman who is always on call.
