Peggy in a word... Vivacious
Peggy is a Hometown Hero because...
Peggy is a hometown hero because everyone knows her as the "Red Cross lady." If a neighbor is upset about how long he had to wait to get blood taken, he calls Peggy. If a volunteer needs someone to cover for her because her mother is ill, she calls Peggy. Peggy is the ultimate role-model for our chapter and for the American Red Cross as a whole. She is loyal, dependable, full of energy and always carries herself with optimism. Our chapter relies on her for a lot and she always comes through for us.
More about Peggy...
Peggy is the chair of the Volunteer Advisory Committee, volunteers with Blood, Finance, Development and Volunteer Services. She is not afraid to ask strangers to donate blood, volunteer or give a donation to the Red Cross. She always has a smile on her face and kindness in her heart!
