Geraldine in a word... Selfless
Geraldine is a Hometown Hero because...
Being a hero runs in her family. Geraldine followed in her mothers footsteps to become a Red Cross volunteer and has helped to save countless lives with her routine blood donations.
More about Geraldine...
Geraldine has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross since 1968. She became a volunteer during the WW2 era because of the knitting circles and experience of rolling bandages her mother participated in when she was a girl. She has given blood off and on through the years and to date has donated 7.5 gallons.
