Celebrity Heroes

At times, there is little that separates us.

Student. Retiree. Movie star. Athlete.

They stand together to remind us that when our nation needs it most, no other organization brings people from all walks of life together like the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross created the Hometown Heroes Celebrity Portrait campaign to encourage volunteerism and highlight our diverse national volunteer corps. Whether they contribute an existing talent, learn a new skill or donate blood, our volunteers provide help and comfort everyday. Each portrait illustrates how Red Cross volunteers touch lives. So whether you're on the silver screen or have a touch of silver in your hair, volunteering with the Red Cross makes you feel larger than life.
